The job of PRODUCT OWNER

The Product Owner (PO) is a project manager in agile mode. He is in charge of satisfying the needs of the customers by delivering a quality product. He serves as aninterface between the technical team, the marketing team and the customers. Within his or her work group, he or she is primarily responsible for the design of the product.

Missions

• Leading a team and supervising
• Provide vision and direction to the development team throughout the project and create requirements
• Distribute pre-prepared tasks to work on
• Define the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
• Write User Stories (simple and comprehensive description of the customer's needs)
• Lead the planning of product launch plans and set expectations for delivery of new features.
• Play an active role in achieving goals
• Research and market analysis
• Tracking competitors
• Keep abreast of Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
