Consultant MOA - MOE - MUREX (M/F) - Expert

CUSTOMER

In a context of reinforcement of the MUREX team, responsible for the Murex application base used for position-keeping and pricing of OTC contracts in a Front Office to Back Office environment.

The "Murex" team includes 6 people in charge of MOA and developments.

The profile sought should be versatile MOA/MOE on the Murex software package. Development capacity on Murex, in-depth knowledge and experience of the software package will constitute the essential knowledge base that will be evaluated.
The main projects on the Roadmap are :

• Integrating new customers
• Cash reconciliation for the Finance department
• Preparatory tasks for an upgrade scheduled for 2025 (OSP migration,STP rights migration, workflow cleanup, etc.).

MISSIONS‍

• Feasibility studies and costing,
• Specification and development of functionalities in Murex (settings, MxMlExchange, Datamart, Market Data interfaces, etc.), or in Java for certain interfaces,
• Conduct unit tests,
• Documentation of functional and technical processes,
• Setting up integration and non-regression tests on MxTest
• Technical support during homologation,
• Production start-ups (sometimes on Saturdays),
• User support (one week of support in rotation with other team members),
• Participation in the team's on-call duties several times a year:
  o Finance department accounting closures (4 nights at the beginning of the month, in rotation with other team members),
  o Technical and/or functional support on certain public holidays or during production interventions at weekends (team rotation).

PREREQUISITES

• Process analysis and solution definition in conjunction with users and other team members ,
• Parameterization and development on MUREX 3. 1 - MOE skills,
• Post-trade and pre-trade workflow expertise. Workflows are complex, not least because of Murex's many incoming and outgoing interfaces,
• Datamart expertise (several hundred existing jobs, notably in MarketData and the Finance department),
• JAVA core development (no particular framework required),
• OTC financial instruments and related business processes: interest rate, credit, equity and currency derivatives,
• Murex platform (services, logs, etc.),
• Languages: SQL (Sybase), Shell,
• International context: Anglophone and Francophone.
• As Murex is integrated into an "in-house" information system, it is essential to be open-minded enough to investigate related applications.
