SRE Engineer (M/F)
CUSTOMER
Against a backdrop of company transformation, and to strengthen the development team, we are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Cloud Engineer.
The Cloud Products team oversees IaaS and SaaS offerings.
You will contribute directly to the development and operations of our fully managed solution hosted on AWS.
You'll also be involved in regularly updating and publishing our IaaS images on AWS, Azure and Outscale.
The team works mainly remotely, so we're looking for someone who can handle a high level of independence and autonomy.
MISSIONS
Our Cloud Products team is growing and looking for a new DevSecOps engineer.
The new team member will be deeply involved in all aspects of the IaaS and SaaS product lifecycle:
- Development of new infra-as-code modules and enhancement of existing ones.
- Design and deploy technical environments on cloud infrastructures.
- Contribute to the security and daily operations of our cloud-based production systems.
- Evaluate the compliance of our products with various safety standards and implement new safety features.
- Improve SLA monitoring and quality assurance processes.
- Write technical documentation.
- Develop and update infra-as-code models for our IaaS customers.
- Support IaaS and SaaS customers.
- Publish product updates on cloud provider marketplaces.
You will also support other team members with your DevSecOps expertise, and may occasionally mentor less experienced colleagues (juniors, apprentices, interns).
PROFILE
- You have in-depth, proven knowledge of AWS services (at least two years' daily practice).
- Terraform and Packer hold no secrets for you when it comes to managing cloud infrastructures.
- You've written and deployed dozens of Ansible roles.
- Linux is the only operating system you trust for production payloads, and you know Ubuntu inside out.
- Your cloud console is a read-only love affair, with any changes you make on a production system coming from Infra-as-Code (the code being stored on a VCS).
- You have extensive experience in operating and supporting cloud-based production systems, ideally on AWS.
- All your code obviously belongs to git, and only to git.
- You have some experience of Hashicorp Vault.
- You have knowledge of industry best practices in information security (you have actively implemented security features on production systems in the past).
- You're a big fan of documentation. You always document your code.
- You know how to write clean, structured technical documentation and procedures.
BONUS
- Experience of publishing on cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Some experience with Terraform Cloud: you know what modules and workspaces are.
- Familiarity with certain CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with the Elastic stack.
- Experience of using TheHive and Cortex!
