In a context of strengthening the VMWare engineering team in charge of projects and infra support for Windows and VmWare Servers on prem and in Azure cloud.

In order to strengthen the team, we are looking for a VMWare Expert - Tools, systems and networks administrator (M/F)

PROJECT & TEAM

You'll be joining a VMWare engineering team in charge of projects and infrastructure support for Windows and VMWARE servers on-prem and in the Azure cloud.

The team is in charge of a large and diversified panel of technologies:
‍

• Support and upgrade of Windows infrastructures (HPE gen 10 server, Windows 2019, vmware 7.0)
• Support and evolution of Active Directory (5 drills) & associated services (DNS, Quest ARS and sync engine, ...)
• Support and development of File Services & File Services Replication (EMC ISILON, Windows DFSN/DFSR)
• Support for O365 services (Azure AD sync, Security configurations, etc.)
• Cybersecurity missions: securing the active directory, disaster recovery of AD, management of the Bastion solution (cyberark), management of server and Windows cluster patching, management of CyberDR on O365 in the event of a total disaster,
• Green IT missions - reporting and settings (e.g. powersavings) aimed at reducing the CO2 footprint of Windows/vmware machines

MISSIONS

• 3rd level administration and support:
  o VMWare vSphere v6.7 & 7
  o HP Physical Servers
  o VEEAM v11 / VEEAM ONE
  ‍
• VMWare Cloud FOUNDATION
• VMWare NSX, ARIA‍

• Software and firmware updates within the VMWare perimeter
• Monitoring, daily reporting and quarterly capacity planning
• Participation in VMWare / Virtualization projects
• HP & HP MSA server administration and support
  ‍

XP

• Excellent knowledge of windows and vmware services, including Virtual Machines, Storage, identity & Security, and Azure Active Directory.
• Mastery of on-premise infrastructure administration.
• Practical experience with identity and access management tools
• Good understanding of security concepts related to Cloud and on premise environments.

Technical expertise :

• Level 3 with VMWare (Support, design and implementation)
• Level 3 with VEEAM & VEEAM One
• Expertise in managing VMWare environments for large enterprises
• Expertise in Metro / extended cluster management
• Experience or expertise with powerCLI
• Knowledge of enterprise encryption solutions
• International context: Fluent in English and French
