Senior Ruby On Rails Backend Developer (M/F)

CUSTOMER

In a context of company transformation, and to strengthen the development team, we are looking for a RoR Backend Developer (M/F) for an end customer based in Paris.

As part of the technical team, the service will make a strong contribution to the design, development and maintenance of our various projects and solutions.

As a Ruby on Rails specialist, you will have a major impact on the architecture and performance of backend systems.

MISSIONS

• Close collaboration with various project teams (Product Owners, QA, Devs) as well as cross-functional teams (UI/UX, customer advisors),
• Guaranteed high-quality code and system performance,
• Maintain and optimize backend applications in line with best practices,
• Participation in task evaluation at the start of each sprint,
• Execute developments during sprints in accordance with current standards and methods,
• Support the support team in identifying and resolving production bugs and incidents,
• Contribute to the team's commitment to deadlines and quality,
• Participation in writing and improving technical documentation,
• Monitor the latest practices and tools in backend development for continuous improvement.

• CI/CD practices
• Agile methodologies (sprint planning, daily standups, grooming, retrospectives, demos, etc.)
• International context: Francophone and Anglophone
• Database: MongoDb, PostgreSql
• Scheduling: Control M, Sidekiq
• Supervision: Nagios, Centreon, splunk, Grafana, Rapid7, NewRelic, Raygun
• Scripting / programming: shell, ruby, python, Postman,
• Infrastructure / Hosting: K8s, AWS, OVH, Heroku (PaaS)
