Senior Windows Systems Engineer - Infra On Prem (M/F)

CUSTOMER

In a context of strengthening the Windows engineering team in charge of projects and infrastructure support for Windows and VmWare Servers on prem and in Azure cloud.

In order to reinforce the team, we are looking for an Expert Windows Azure Systems Engineer (M/F).

PROJECT & TEAM

You'll be joining a Windows engineering team in charge of projects and infrastructure support for Windows and VMWARE servers on-prem and in the Azure cloud.

The team is in charge of a large and diversified panel of technologies:
‍

• Support and upgrade of Windows infrastructures (HPE gen 10 server, Windows 2019, vmware 7.0)
• Support and evolution of Active Directory (5 drills) & associated services (DNS, Quest ARS and sync engine, ...)
• Support and development of File Services & File Services Replication (EMC ISILON, Windows DFSN/DFSR)
• Support for O365 services (Azure AD sync, Security configurations, etc.)
• Cybersecurity missions: securing the active directory, disaster recovery of AD, management of the Bastion solution (cyberark), management of server and Windows cluster patching, management of CyberDR on O365 in the event of a total disaster,
• Green IT missions - reporting and settings (e.g. powersavings) aimed at reducing the CO2 footprint of Windows/vmware machines

MISSIONS

• Design, develop and maintain Windows on-prem & Azure O365 solutions in line with business needs.
• Manage and optimize existing on-premise infrastructure.
• Ensure system security using tools such as CyberArk and Active Roles.
• Collaborate with internal teams to solve problems related to Azure infrastructure and solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of new functionalities
• Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage incidents, carry out troubleshooting and provide high-level technical support.
• Document infrastructure-related processes, procedures and configurations.

XP

• Solid experience in the design, implementation and management of on-prem Windows & Azure O365 environments.
• Excellent knowledge of windows and vmware services, including Virtual Machines, Storage, identity & Security, and Azure Active Directory.
• Mastery of on-premise infrastructure administration.
• Practical experience with identity and access management tools
• Good understanding of security concepts related to cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make in-depth diagnoses.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English, to work in an English-speaking environment.
• Microsoft Azure certification (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer) strongly recommended.
